This is a project about everyday sounds, started by me Maria, a girl from Stockholm, Sweden. The idea is to record and exchange the background sounds that we hear when going to work.
To participate:
Record the background sounds on your way to work an ordinary day. Just simply record the sounds with your cell phone, start when leaving home and stop recording when you arrive at work. Then upload the sounds to our SoundCloud group: http://soundcloud.com/groups/sounds-on-my-way-to-work/dropbox
Please name the file as follows:
Your first name, city, country
SoundCloud is free and easy to use. They also have a lot of apps you can download to your iPhone or Android smartphone which makes recording and sharing your sounds really easy.

Note that the sounds you upload also might be selected and published on this tumblr.
